Speaker Bio
Laurie E. Lasseter is senior vice president of engineering and chief technology officer of WMS. In this capacity, she created and leads the team that develops an array of cutting-edge gaming products. Prior to joining WMS, Lasseter worked at Motorola as director in the cellular infrastructure group and began her career at AT&T Bell Labs designing memory access systems for fault-tolerant computers. Lasseter has received numerous honors, including being named a finalist for the Illinois Technology Association's CityLIGHTS Technologist of the Year in 2011. She holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Northwestern University and a master's degree from Cornell University.| Tuesday, October 04, 2011 | |
